GCSE Level Mathematics

GCSE LEVEL MATHEMATICS

This is a one-year course is primarily designed for students retaking the exam in order to gain a higher grade than they have previously achieved, i.e. grade D or below. 
It is designed to encourage confidence in mathematical techniques and develop knowledge in the written, oral and practical expression of these skills particularly in everyday situations.
The aim is to enter students at Intermediate Level, targeting
Grades B - E.

 

There are five modules to be studied :

Handling Data  2 x 20 mins tests                                           11%
Handling Data project                                                             10%
Number 2 x 40 mins tests                                                      19%
Number & Algebra, Shape & Space project                           10%

Number & Algebra, Shape & Space 1 hr exam students are allowed
