NVQ LEVEL 2 CHILDREN'S CARE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
It is vital that those who work with babies and children should have the highest levels of skill and training. The NVQ 2 in early years care and education proves that you have demonstrated these skills and knowledge.
Success in this qualification will enable you to work in nurseries, pre-school groups or in schools as assistants.
On this course you will spend approximately two days a week on a work placement. The learning, experience and understanding that you gain will be assessed in the workplace. You will also study at the Sixth Form Centre to gain essential underpinning knowledge.
This course will be selected by students who are passionate about early years care and are ready the show the responsibility, motivation and commitment that working with children requires. Places will be limited.
The course is assessed by qualified observations both in college and in the workplace. Students will be required to produce some written evidence of assessment tasks.
