NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE (LEVEL 2)
This qualification is designed to recognise a student's skills, knowledge and understanding of the health and social care sector. The certificate will provide them with a high quality, industry-recognised qualification.
Progression is possible to further qualifications, such as the AS/A2 GCE in Health & Social Care. Alternatively, those who want to enter the workplace may do so at operative or trainee level and complete an NVQ at a level suitable to their job role. The course lasts for one year and prepares students for employment where they will be expected to communicate effectively with people and provide support within environments such as care settings.
