Portslade Community College - PCC
We are situated 6 miles from the centre of Brighton with all the advantages that this offers in terms of access to the beauty of the Downs and the exciting life of Brighton.
The community aspect of the College is very strong and the work of the 11-18 section is complemented by a thriving adult education department, a youth centre, a superb fully equipped sports centre and a pre-school playgroup. The College facilities are further enhanced by a dual usage library and a careers office.
Since the College opened in 1974, our maxim “Caring for Achievement” is at the heart of all our work and we are determined to provide a caring and happy environment which stimulates and recognises all forms of achievement and promotes our role in the wider community.
We are very proud of all we achieve and should like everyone to feel that the Community College is ‘our college’ and that we all have a real share in it.
