Skills for Life in English and Maths
Do you want help to brush up your English and/or Maths skills?Do you want to work towards a qualification?
You may have left school without any qualifications; have trouble coping with your children’s schoolwork or perhaps avoid writing or maths when you can.
Our free courses run from the end of September and throughout the year.
Not me for GCSE!
Do you avoid writing or maths when you can? Our Useful English and Useful Maths courses offer you a chance to work at your own pace on the skills you need now and for the future. Plus a chance to gain Entry Level qualifications.
Need a little longer to get ready for GCSE?
Do you want to prepare for GCSE level? Our Pre-GCSE courses offer you the chance to improve your skills and work towards National Qualifications at Entry Level 3/Level 1/Level 2

You will be invited to an Information/Enrolment session where you can find out more and get advice on the most appropriate course for you based on your level and needs.
Information/Enrolment sessions will be held at Chalky Road on:
- Monday 20th July, 10.00am-12.00noon
- Monday 20th July, 7.00-9.00pm
- Monday 10th August, 10.00am-12.00noon
- Monday 10th August, 7.00-9.00pm
- Tuesday 1st September, 11.30am-1.30pm
- Thursday 3rd September, 7.00-9.00pm
