Information & Communication Technology Department (ICT)

ICT Aims:
  •  to use ICT to enhance, enrich and extend learning
  •  to encourage students to recognise the appropriate uses of,
     and to be confident with, ICT
  •  to increase student motivation and self-esteem by improving the
     presentation of their work, particularly for those students with special educational needs
  •  to use ICT to assist in the effective delivery of the National Curriculum
  •  to help students to understand the consequences of ICT for the individual and society
  •  to improve students' understanding of the ethical implications of ICT
  •  to use ICT, as appropriate, to improve the learning experiences of students with
     special educational needs
  •  to fulfil the requirements of the National Curriculum
