  • Written simple HTML codes in Notepad++
  • Previewed work in browser
  • Named and Identified at least 5 colour codes

Activity Three - Working out HTML Colour Code

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language it is the way in which web pages are written.

This lesson you are going to enter colour codes into Notepad++ to work out which code is which colour.

HTML does not understand colours such as piller box red, sky blue, ect instead every colour has a code and it is this code you need to enter into your web pages.

For activity two you need to Open Notepad++, write in your starting HTML code: <html> <body>

Assessment
If you can identify all the codes and explain their meaning you are working at a level 3A.

Identify 15 different codes and exlplain them = Level 3A
Identify 10 different codes and exlplain them = Level 3B
Identify 5 different codes and exlplain them = Level 3C
