Mathematics

We believe mathematics can be enjoyable and fulfilling for students of all ability levels. By using problem-solving and investigative activities, we hope to build students' confidence as they develop their own mathematical knowledge and skills.

A number of teaching methods and resources are used in Maths lessons. These include the use of games and investigations, textbooks and ICT activities.

Homework is set once a week in Years 7, 8 and 9 and twice a week in Years 10 and 11. Each homework should take your child 30 – 40 minutes. We are happy for you to help your child with their homework but you should also encourage them to seek help from their teacher if they are having difficulty.
