Oxford University Press Music
Although a commercial site promoting OUP's range of music publications, this site also contains useful support materials for the music student. View sample pages of choral works or read biographies of over 25 contemporary composers.
Music Collection
Curriculum related books, scores and music CDs, the latter mainly classical and ‘world’. They are grouped together at the beginning of the Adult music section at 780.
Copies of the CD covers are in a folder, just ask at the counter for the CD you wish to borrow. Also in the folder is a list of the items held in the collection.
The collection will not be available to ordinary library members. Only PCC STUDENT LIBR@RY CARD holders will be able to borrow them.
PCC LIBR@RY STUDENT MUSIC CARD
College students who have opted for GCSE Music and younger students recommended by their College Muisc teacher may apply for one of these cards. Parental letters and Membership Forms detailing the following conditions of use may be obtained from the Music Department but must be returned to the College Libr@ry.
bulletThe card is valid in PCC Libr@ry only and may only be used to borrow items from the      Music Collection.
bulletThe card allows the holder to borrow 2 CDs plus 1 other item at a time.
bulletItems will be issued for 1 week, except over a school holiday period.
bullet No 'unseen renewals' will be allowed. Items must be returned to the library but may       be re-issued for another week.
bulletThe normal College fine rates will apply to overdue items.
bulletAny lost or damaged items must be paid for within 28 days of the invoice date.
bulletNo items may be borrowed if there are overdue items or outstanding monies on the      account.
bulletThese cards are in addition to the normal College Libr@ry Card.
