Functions
The Sports Centre has a fully licensed
bar which is open from
7.00pm - 11.00pm each weekday evening and from
7.00 -10.30pm on Sundays. The bar can open on a Saturday evening
for a social function or sporting event.
The Sports Centre also has a large screen T.V. in the lounge area
so if you want to come and watch a big match one night and enjoy
a beer at the same time please do.
The Sports Centre is a very popular venue for social functions.
Up to 200 people can be accommodated but those with approximately
100 guests seem to be the most popular. If you would like to hold
a social function here you would need to ring the Manager to discuss
details.
Just to give you some idea of cost, the usual fee for evening bookings
which begin at
8.00pm and finish at midnight is
£130.00. The
Sports Centre can be booked for a wedding reception where the function
begins at around
4.00pm. The cost is then approximately
£180.00.
Please bear in mind that the Sports Centre cannot accept bookings
for 18th or 21st birthday parties.
